New Lean Cuisine Reward Program – Delicious Rewards

I love points/reward programs!

I participate in many reward programs, collecting codes and points from product packaging to enter on the company website. I collect the points and save them, building my pile of points up until I have enough to buy something from the company’s reward catalog.

It’s fun, free and has, well…rewards!

Today I was heating up a Lean Cuisine for lunch, and while it was cooking I brought the box into my office so I could enter the code into their Red Carpet Collection Lunch Bag promotion. Some of the boxes are labeled for that promotion and some are not. This particular box was labeled, but for a NEW promotion that starts next month!

From April 18, 2011 to December 31, 2011, Lean Cuisine will be running a new reward program!

There doesn’t seem to be any information on their website yet, but I bet once the lunch bag promo is over, you’ll see details pop up online.

The program is apparently called Delicious Rewards, and will have a catalog of items you can spend your points on. Specifically mentioned on the box are rewards like dining decor, Lean Cuisine coupons and gift cards.

Sounds good to me!

Do any of you plan to participate?

I just redeemed enough codes for my free lunch bag! I was so excited to see this as I eat a Lean Cuisine meal for lunch about 3 out of the 5 weekdays. Add my husband to that and we have about 6 codes a week! If I’m going to buy it anyway, I may as well get something for it, lol.

Me, too!!! I am going to put in my final code today and order my bag. Their promotion must’ve gone well, and I am a lover of points programs anyway! I hope the rewards are nice.

I just stumbled on your site when I goggled “delicious rewards” to try to get more information. I highly doubt I will log in 20 codes in time to get the lunch box,so I wanted to see what I may be able to get later. I hope it is as fun as it sounds!

HI Lori! I just posted about that this morning! http://couponsnob.net/2011/03/25/lean-cuisine-bag-codes-will-transfer-to-delicious-rewards/

I finally got enough codes to get a bag, and if you had gotten some codes entered, they WILL transfer to the new program. I am anxious to see the prizes!

I hope the upcoming prizes will be as good as the lunch bags. I hope they won’t be lame, like coupons for Lean Cuisine dinners; that would be REALLY lame. ! Make them FUN things to save up for, like the lunch bags. In fact, I hope they still offer lunch bags.

Out of the three possibilities you mentioned, gift cards and Lean Cuisine coupons both sound like really BORING options and not ones that I want to spend a lot of time entering long codes into on a computer.

On the other hand, the lunch bags were FUN because they were interesting designs and were worth getting. So I hope someone at Lean Cuisine is giving some thought into these prizes. I only have so much time, and right now a certain other rewards program’s points are sitting piled up because I can’t seem to make the time (or interest) to log them into the computer.

Also, Lean Cuisine, if you are listening, a couple of points:

1. DO NOT let people’s points expire on them. That is a terrible thing to do. Don’t tell them that they have to log in to the website and enter a new code every three months or they will lose all of their points. That is an awful thing to do. Just let everyone keep the points they have built up until they are ready to use them. Okay? Thanks.

2. Second, try to have as WIDE a support as possible for as many browsers as possible, both old browsers and new ones. Mac and PC both. You can do this. There are a lot of older computers out there, and those users need to be able to enter codes also. People don’t need to be buying a new computer these days just for a damned web browser; no one has the money for these forced upgrades all because websites keep updating their flash, etc. Please keep them backward-compatible.

In summary, this could be a good rewards program with some interesting prizes, or it could be ho-hum. It depends on what the prizes are. I hope Lean Cuisine will be creative and offer us some interesting things and not fall back on the status quo used by some other companies.

Hey there,

Thanks so much for posting your comment. I totally agree that they need to watch the reward programs of other companies, and take notes of what works and what just frustrates the consumer.

I didn’t mind working on the 20 codes for the lunch bag promo at all. I felt the payout was worth it. (Can’t wait to get my bag!!!) I hope the rewards are good in the new program, but not too ridiculously difficult to obtain. I hate having my carrot held too high. ;)

You’ve got great points, and I hope Lean Cuisine sees your comments!

well the good news is that the new program starts up soon, and we can enter codes then. I think they will be worth more based on an email they sent me. I’m hopeful!

It doesn’t work and who in the world can save packages to enter codes later on…..the COKE site works, this DOES NOT. What a waste of time.

What a total waste – not only are the “rewards” not worth the box the meal came in, they have made the light pink “codes” on the inside difficult to read, and then when you email them about the code and provide them with everything under the sun, they just tell you maybe the 0 is a D or maybe the K is an H – not worth even thinking about it – I’ve seen better rewards come out of a gumball machine.

I have been participating in the Rewards Program since it started and I have two major complaints –1) I don’t think they are offering very tempting stuff, and 2) I did redeem lots of my points for some items 3 months ago and I STILL HAVEN’T GOTTEN ANYTHING.

I live on LC dinners for lunch and most suppers and my husband eats a lot of them too, so I have a LOT of points. Nevertheless, I doubt if I will ever participate in one of their Rewards programs again as this one has been so disappointing!

I redeemed points for a reward a month ago, but I never received it. When I contacted Lean Cuisine, I got the generic response that they would contact me in three days. That didn’t happen, so I contacted them again. No response. Has anyone actually received a reward (or a response) from Lean Cuisine?

I did. I got a lunch bag, but it took about 3 months to arrive. They say rewards can take 8-12 weeks…

I got mine a lot later than expected, too. Quality was fine, but they are very slow to respond.

do any of u know when they will update the catalogue? i want to get something new, but i really dont like anything on their catalogue now, plus i already ordered the wine opener! ( and i recieved it in 1.5 weeks.)

i emailed Lean cuisine support and they said “just keep checking as many factors go into updating a catlogue”– which means absolutely nothing :-/
