Product Review: PAM Cooking Spray – making clean up a breeze

by on November 16, 2011 in Reviews

About two weeks ago I shared some pictures on the Coupon Snob Tumblr page of a package that Smiley360 sent me. They put me on a mission to use the new, improved PAM Cooking Spray and see how the clean up went. I posted some new pictures this morning of my cooking adventure, so click here to see them, and then read on for my review!

I have used PAM Cooking Spray for a long time, and for a lot of different cooking applications. I also buy store brand cooking spray on occasion, too. The new PAM claims to be 70% better at not sticking, making for an easier clean up.

Sometimes there are things that you cook that are going to be difficult to clean up, no matter what! But I wanted to test it out, so I used the supplies they sent me and whipped up some cheesy chicken enchiladas! You can see the recipe here.

I altered the recipe just a little. Instead of creating my own enchilada sauce, I just used a can I had in the pantry. The enchiladas were awesome by the way!

When it came to clean up…it really was easy. I could tell when I was serving the enchiladas out of the glass Pyrex pan that there was no sticking AT ALL, and the glass practically looked clean. We didn’t eat the whole pan, so I stuck it in the fridge, and we had leftovers the next night.

When it came time to wash the pan, not only was it cooked in, but then it was in the fridge for a day, and THEN cleaned. It didn’t matter though, because it rinsed clean immediately.

I had fun with this mission, and I encourage you to check out the new PAM the next time you’re at the store.

I’d love to hear what you’d cook with it!

Special thanks to www.Smiley360.com for providing me with a coupon for free PAM, and the mission kit seen here.
