Dollar Tree Officially Begins Accepting Coupons

by on August 26, 2012 in Store Deals & News

Here’s some big news for coupon users: Dollar Tree stores are beginning to officially accept manufacturer coupons, starting today.

Maybe I live in a test market, but the two Dollar Tree stores in my town have accepted them for quite a while now. Either way, this is big news!

Many of the items that are carried by Dollar Tree stores are not from big brands that release coupons, but some are. Plus, many Dollar Tree stores have quite a large stock of grocery items, which tend to have more brand names than their other items.

If you want to take a peek at the Dollar Tree coupon policy, click here and scroll down.

Always read and make sure you understand a store’s coupon policy before attempting to shop there with your coupons. Dollar Tree has some pretty specific line items in their policy. The big one that I noticed is this: “Only two (2) print-at-home Internet coupons may be redeemed per transaction.”

I tend to use printable coupons quite a lot when I shop, but only being able to use two for my whole transaction will really limit my ability to shop there.

What do you think of the new Dollar Tree coupon policy?
